Camp

This week Mom, Amanda, Braden, and Mikayla are all at camp. I’m bach’in’ it. It’s not that big a deal though, I have to go to school at 8 AM and then I work the rest of the day. I’m kinda bored with everything right now. All of my friends are out of town, busy or I can’t get in touch with them. My bank account is also much lower than I want it to be. I’ve got to stop spending money, so that my balance will increase.

At school in my classroom, I was able to download a video file at 4.8 Mbps! That’s an insane speed. Something that would take one hour at work, took 30 seconds there. I’m very hooked to the high-speed!

Fan

I’ve got a consistent visitor whom I’d like to know. They are using Microsoft Windows 2000 and Internet Explorer 5.5. You came to my site on the 17th and 18th of June. You usually go to my home page from my facebook profile. Your screen size is 800 by 600 pixels and 16 bits is the color depth. You use SBC Internet services and yesterday you listened to my audio blog. You are located somewhere near Deer Park, TX (that’s a suburb of Houston). I’d really like to know who you are. If you think you are this person, please send me an email at daniel @ pnebleu.com . I’m not trying to scare you with this information, but I get this info from a page counter that tells me how many people visit. Please email me if you feel this is you. Thanks.

New Website

I guess I never mentioned this, but I got a new website, http://pnebleu.com/, and this one has a domain and hosting. I’ve already incorporated everything, so this is actually old news, but I thought I need to say something. I’m trying to keep it compact and easy to use. Whether you visit or not, I like it and will update it as needed. You can email me with comments at daniel@pnebleu.com . Hope you enjoy, I certainly will.

Internet

I am getting frustrated with the internet. At home I have dial-up and we get about 40.0 kbps. At work I have DSL at about 150 kbps. At Texas A&M I get about 1.1 Mbps. That’s a wide range. Why can’t the U.S. have universal high-speed internet, at a minimum of 300 kbps. That would be really good. Higher speeds could also be purchased but that would be a good minimum. I’m so adjusted to broadband when I get home that I can’t even use dial-up. I get so impatient. There are so many things that I can’t do with dial-up. Make internet a utility and universalize it!

Variety

I like variety and a change in environment. I have not been able to easily find widescreen desktop images, but just recently I found two websites that have a lot of really good ones. The first is mandolux.com. The archive goes back to 2002 and I really like a lot of the large desktops. The artist/photographer is very talented. Another widescreen desktop site I found was InterfaceLIFT.com. It was arranged in an easy to browser and download fashion. I get quite bored with the same desktop and visual style after a while. It was nice to find sites that understood the widescreen audience. Variety is the spice of life.

The Transfer

I’m glad to say I’ve transfered over to this blog for all my broadcasting needs, news, events, thoughts, rants, raves, podcasts, vidcasts, anything I want! It wasn’t without growing pains. I had to edit all the pages of my website. I’m going to go try and get a haircut so I’ll talk later.
