Mesa Verde

Awesome view. You could see for miles. This is first set of dwellings we could see.
Cliff walls were sweet looking. I loved the view. Awesome framing.
The dwellings we went into a few minutes later. Picture from down lower into the valley. Smaller dwelling area.
Not sure what I'm looking at. I guess just the valley floor. Forest fire wiped out the over growth. Maybe they will grow back more naturally now. More shallow caves.
Now we are getting into the sweet buildings. It looks like a castle. Storage area. They said that the main purpose of the entire structures system was probably for food storage.
Different views of the structures. Stone tower. The cave ceiling looked like it was broken an might fall.
Maybe that was some kind of guard post. Aw... look how happy we are. View of the other side of the mountain range.
Mountain in background. Cliff side. The city we stayed in is in the distance.
Cliffs with mountain in background.
