Sunken Brownwood This is what used to be Brownwood, TX. It is a suburb of Houston on the ship channel. Over the years it sank into the water and had to be abandoned. Some of the sinking is blamed on oil being pumped out from under it. What was left of it was transformed into a nature preserve/park. 9 photos |
