Pacific Ocean & Orcas
The other day, Mamaw, Carrie and I went whale watching in Puget Sound. There were so many little islands out there. It was so gorgeous. The sky was so clear, we could see the Cascades, Mt. Baker, and a few others. It was so wonderful! The Pacific Ocean is so beautiful. I took photos in the Puget Sound on our whale watching trip. The sunset is so gorgeous. I’ve got two really good pictures of the orcas spyhopping. It was spectacular. They are available at my Flickr account and my Facebook account.
Travel
Well after 4.5 hours of flying to Portland from College Station and 4 hours of driving to Seattle from Portland, I’m finally here. I’m very tired and it’s been nearly 22 hours awake for me. So goodnight. More to come later.
Portland & Seattle
I’m going to Portland & Seattle this weekend & early next week. I’ll be gone from the 22nd through the 27th. I’m flying out of College Station. I love that airport. It’s so convenient. Small lines, comfortable security, friendly staff. I pay a little extra to fly out of there, but it is worth it.
I’ll try to post pictures and text about my trip as it’s happening. I know I can leave audio posts and pictures from my cell phone. But hopefully I’ll try to put videos and higher quality photos on in the evening.
It’s going to be so much fun. I can’t wait.
Fan
I’ve got a consistent visitor whom I’d like to know. They are using Microsoft Windows 2000 and Internet Explorer 5.5. You came to my site on the 17th and 18th of June. You usually go to my home page from my facebook profile. Your screen size is 800 by 600 pixels and 16 bits is the color depth. You use SBC Internet services and yesterday you listened to my audio blog. You are located somewhere near Deer Park, TX (that’s a suburb of Houston). I’d really like to know who you are. If you think you are this person, please send me an email at daniel @ pnebleu.com . I’m not trying to scare you with this information, but I get this info from a page counter that tells me how many people visit. Please email me if you feel this is you. Thanks.
New Website
I guess I never mentioned this, but I got a new website, http://pnebleu.com/, and this one has a domain and hosting. I’ve already incorporated everything, so this is actually old news, but I thought I need to say something. I’m trying to keep it compact and easy to use. Whether you visit or not, I like it and will update it as needed. You can email me with comments at daniel@pnebleu.com . Hope you enjoy, I certainly will.
Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth are annoying at least and excruciating at most. Mine lean to the excruciating side. I should have had them removed last year after I discovered that they are twisted and distorted in the gums. Each one is in a different direction. They haven’t bothered me all year until now. I never got them removed because I was always busy with school, work, or social events. I don’t want to be out of action for a week. That’s a loss of valuable time, but if they keep irritating me as they are, I’ll have to cut’em out before the fall. I’m not looking forward to that. I’m not scared, just not excited. I’ve never had a broken bone or had any surgery before. I don’t know what potent pain-relievers will be like, and the thought of anesthesia doesn’t sound too thrilling. But at least it will be better than it was in dental history.
Chicks
Mikayla got two chicks from a science project in her first grade class. They’ve grown a lot in three weeks. We still don’t know the gender of the two. Mikayla named them Chico and Lenard, though. We are looking forward to getting some eggs, if one of them is a hen. Otherwise, they will make pretty good chicken nuggets, just kidding. Mikayla will be keeping them as pets.
My dad and I built the cage that they will be living in. Building the cage wasn’t all that difficult, but it did take some work. It should last quite a while.
